TANZANIA YOUTH FORUM 2023

The 2023 Tanzania Youth Forum was organized by Freedom House, the Prime Minister’s Office, and Dodoma Youth Development Organization (DOYODO) in collaboration with other youth-led organizations, and organizations with youth programming and development partners.

The main objective of the Tanzania Youth Forum was to create a sustainable coordination mechanism between the Government of Tanzania and Youth through policy and legal frameworks that facilitate and enable an environment for youth inclusion and participation in pioneering the youth agenda in economic, social, political, and leadership development sectors.

Tanzania Youth Forum 2023 took place in Dodoma on the 3rd and 4th of August 2023 at the Jakaya Kikwete Convention Centre. The forum brought together over 750 youth from youth-led CSOs and NGOs, youth leaders, youth political leaders, youth entrepreneurs, youth from education
institutions including higher learning institutions, representatives from government institutions, individual youth, and the private sector. The two-day event will feature a series of panel discussions, capacity-building sessions, activities exhibition, policy brief presentations, keynote
speakers, and breakout sessions.
