The Six Years of DDA Project and the Impact of Capacity Development to Tanzanian CSOs & Communities
The data driven advocacy or DDA is the six years USA funded project from August 17 to November 2023 the project work on improving and sustaining the ability of Tanzania Civil Society Organizations CSO to influence policy advocacy on rising issues through the strategic use of better data and information.
The project spanned across Tanzania, covering both Tanzania Mainland and Tanzania Zanzibar. During implementation, we partnered with Freedom House, serving as the Prime Implementing Partner responsible for overall fund management and project oversight. Pact assumed the role of building the capacity of civil societies in Tanzania Mainland and Zanzibar, focusing on strengthening their institutional capabilities. Pact was also managing sub-awards as part of its responsibilities.
The project has yielded numerous positive outcomes. We thank the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) for their steadfast dedication to global development. The generous funding provided through the DDA project has profoundly impacted our community, empowering Tanzanian CSOs to achieve intended goals and improve the lives of people.
