Pamoja Youth Initiative (PYI)
Pamoja Youth Initiative (PYI) is dedicated to empowering the youth of Zanzibar, aged 15-35, irrespective of their political affiliations, economic status, religion, or educational background. Our mission is to strengthen youth involvement and participation to realize and utilize their potential through youth capacity building towards the sustainable development of society. PYI has consistently demonstrated its commitment to youth capacity building in various areas, including livelihood, democracy and good governance, climate change and resilience adaptation, as well as sexual reproductive health and rights. We employ the Positive Youth Development (PYD) approach in all our endeavors, focusing on nurturing and empowering young individuals.
